I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, the chicken with vegetables, and a few sides of steamed rice — everything was excellent. The food was super fresh, hot, and came out very quickly. Service was great from start to finish, and the restaurant itself was clean, open, and had a nice comfortable feel. Really happy with the prices as well. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality food and friendly service! Great prices & made kind of my own custom meal they were very accommodating.

Enjoyed the delicious Thai staple lunch here after a Muay Thai session nearby. Fair pricing and easy to find location, despite the quiet the area in Choeng Mon. Owners and staff are welcoming and accommodating.

Vielen Dank!

Bongoes was a delightful restaurant. The owner was really inviting and super polite. The menu is quite extensive being a mixture of European as well as local Thai dishes. The prices were really good. Some of the cheapest that I’ve seen so far for a sit down restaurant but don’t judge the food by the price. The quality of the food was excellent and it’s all made fresh to order. I had a chicken fried rice and the portion was large. Most importantly, it tasted great. My wife went for the veggie burger and she really enjoyed it too. A shame that we didn’t find this restaurant sooner as we leave in a couple of days.

Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming. We went about 6:30pm on a weekday. We had the place to ourselves. The food was tasty and extremely well priced. My son was delighted with his burger. Unfortunately they were out of ice cream. So we could get the fritters and ice-cream and opted for a 7-11 one instead. Hopefully we’ll be back and get dessert next time. 🙂
