Laundry X’Press Nanai

I have rental properties that need laundry regularly. I found this shop and contacted the owner. He referred me to this branch saying the service was good that you can leave your laundry with this particular worker and she can load and unload laundry for you. You can give her a "TIP". At first, I tried this shop and did not give her any tip but later on I offered her to add 10% service charge on the bill. She did not respond. But when the bill came, the service charge was a figure rather than 10% and more than that. In fact, I am fine with the charge (50THB for each time, it's peanuts) but I'm not fine with how they charged any amount without telling customers in advance. When I pointed out about this, the worker told me to use other shops, very arrogant worker. It's such a shame that I tried to work around with the shop and their workers such as giving a lump sum advance payment for the laundry cost, not getting copy of their Thai ID card for company expense (as they are evading tax, of course they don’t want to give, all income is in coin cash). But they did not bother to maintain or care about long-term relationship with customers as they have plenty of short-term foreign customers to earn from. I suppose it's ok if you do self-service but be careful of the workers.
